Historic Central Wing

Located in the central part of the Château accessed by renaissance spiral staircase as well as an elevator, these bedrooms look out over the courtyard and are connected by a hallway that looks out over the formal gardens. Stay in the historic wing to get the most authentic Château experience.

Chambre du Roi

A room fit for a King. The Grandest Bedroom in the Château. the King Room is named for the tradition of every Château keeping its most beautiful chambers ready for the king to visit at any time on his journeys throughout the land. A large Alexander the Great tapestry hangs behind the bed, inlay furnishings adorn the room, and opposite the bed is an imposing renaissance fireplace. Look out to the formal gardens to the north as well as the courtyard to the south form the double exposure windows. At night, close the internal shutters to get a deep nights sleep. 

A King sized bed with down comforter and pillows, and luxury percale cotton sheets complete this beautiful chamber. 

A large bathroom with double sinks, a toilet and a small shower adjoins. Ample closet storage, and equipped with all amenities, this suite provides space and elegance for two. 

Suite Toile de Jouy

A charming double room suite, the Toile de Jouy rooms are full of light and Château whimsy. The furthest room is a bedroom, with windows overlooking the courtyard, a desk a fireplace and a sitting area. Passing through a small hallway that used to serve as a kitchenette, in the days that the Chateau had apartments, you will access the second room of the Suite. This room can either be furnished as a sitting salon, or if needed, a second bedroom, with a second Queen size bed. With the two beds, this Suite can sleep 4. Perfect for a luxurious stay for 2, as well as a family suite, this room is perfectly central and beautiful. 

 

In this second room, you can access a bathroom with one sink, a shower/tub combo and a toilette. The Stone spiral staircase is accessed off of the second room, and both bedrooms have doors leading to the hallway and elevator. 

Chambre Lafayette

At the end of the Historic Wing hallway, to the right waits a resplendent room with magnificently tall beamed ceilings, silk pink wall fabric, a renaissance fireplace, and a canopy over the bed. This is, in fact, the bedroom where General Lafayette is said to have stayed during a visit to Puy Vidal, before departing to the Americas. A romantic room for a couple, or a beautiful retreat for a fairy tale escape, this room truly envelops one in the Chateau experience. 

 

A King sized bed, down comforter, pillows and percale cotton sheets, you will sleep as if you were in another century, far from the distractions of the present.

The West Wing

Located on the 2nd floor of the west wing, these bedrooms look out to the internal courtyard. These bedrooms lead to a smaller spiral stone staircase in the middle of the wing and there is no elevator access to these rooms.This wing is more french country style than the central wing rooms. Stay in these rooms to get the comforts of modern renovated bathrooms and with touches of elegant Chateau aesthetics.

Chambre Rose

Located in the West Wing, these bedrooms have slightly lower ceilings than their counterparts in the Central Wing. This creates a cozier, more modern atmosphere, while still having many beautiful Chateau touches throughout. Chambre Rose has two Queen size beds and is comfortable for up to 4 people.  The double french windows look out across the courtyard to the East Wing and entry gates. A small antique desk completes the room.

Chambre Oiseau

Chambre Oiseau, or Chamber of the Bird, is a beautiful two room suite nestled across the hall from one another with a private staircase between them. This suite can house two to three people. This room has a shared restroom, but also has access to a restroom at the bottom of the stairs which is unused at night.

This lovely, two room suite is perfect for a group of best friends who want to stay up all night chatting.

Chambre Bleu

Also in the West Wing, Chambre Bleu is our smallest bedroom, but its is nevertheless very comfortable for two. Its Queen sized bed, sitting area, desk, nightstands and adjoining renovated bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and ample closet space leave nothing to be desired. Its french windows look out to the Entry gates as well as a beautiful view of the Central Wing of the Château. Neo-classical mouldings adorn the ceiling and a lovely blue wall fabric gives the room understated elegance.
